World No. 2 Nelly Korda‘s last appearance on the LPGA Tour came at the Founders Cup in early May. That event saw Korda shockingly miss the cut after an impressive streak of eight top-10 finishes in her last nine starts.
Days after the event, the 24-year-old took to social media to announce her withdrawal from June’s Mizuho Americas Open, citing soreness in her back. But, after almost a month of being away from action, the golfer took to social media on Sunday to share an exciting update with her fans!

Nelly Korda drops an exciting update on Instagram
While Rose Zhang’s heroics at the Liberty National Golf Course earlier this month made waves in the golf community, Nelly Korda’s absence from the field was deeply palpable. After all, the LPGA star had been in stunning form this year until her abrupt withdrawal. Korda has had four top-5 finishes in 2023 so far, including a solo third-place finish at the Chevron Championship in April. Now, fans can very well expect to see the 8-time LPGA Tour winner back in action, as evidenced by her latest social media activity!

Taking to her Instagram stories, the golfer shared a few videos of her practicing on the greens. “Slowly but surely,” Korda wrote in one of the videos, giving fans a glimpse into her resolute mindset.
This is a great update for fans, especially with the year’s second LPGA major drawing close. This year, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship is set to be held at the Baltusrol Golf Club from June 22 to June 25.
Will Nelly Korda play at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship?

After she failed to defend the coveted title last year, Korda will definitely be hoping to win the major a second time this year.
