Founded in 2014, the Meijer LPGA Classic has enthralled golf fans year after year. From Nelly Korda to Lexi Thompson to Brooke Henderson, many of the biggest names on the LPGA Tour have claimed the title at Blythefield over the past years. However, another great detail about the LPGA event, which is currently winning hearts on the internet, is its delectable menu at amazing prices! On Thursday, @AndrewRiceGolf took to Twitter to share a picture of the available food items as well as their prices! Many were pleasantly surprised to see that food can be bought at the Meijer LPGA Classic for as low as $1!
Huge shoutout to The Masters for continuously being one of the only sporting events that has an affordable menu at the concession stand 👏 pic.twitter.com/YrFXNeEGSZ

The cost of the items is also significantly lower than the prices seen at PGA Tour events, including the generally affordable menu at Augusta National. While beverages at the Masters venue can go up to $6, spectators at Blythefield can enjoy a glass of wine for just $4. Meanwhile, the venue in Michigan allows golf fans to get their hands on delicious desserts for as cheap as $2!
After the tweet gained traction in the golf community, many golf fans were quick to express their genuine delight and surprise!
Fans react to LPGA event’s super affordable menu
Fans on Twitter couldn’t help but relay their experiences from other golfing events, with one person recounting a particularly underwhelming experience from the recently-concluded Mizuho Americas Open. Meanwhile, another Twitter user couldn’t believe that the affordable items at Meijer LPGA Classic came with no catch!
Now that's refreshing…when I was at Mizuho though, a water bottle and a bag of cheez-its cost me $8 🥴
— Will (@freewilllyyyy) June 15, 2023
Those prices are actually reasonable. What's the catch?

Very nice of them to keep prices where they should be

Some also compared the prices to the cost of snacks at the Masters. One individual even rehashed a not-so-pleasant experience from the 2016 Ryder Cup!
Cheap prices compared to The Masters.

Don't know why all places don't do this. If beer is 4 pounds a drink I'll get 3 of them. If beers ten pounds I'm only getting 1.

This is how it should be! Went to Ryder Cup in 2016 and prices were about 2.5x this. $10 beers, $8 hot dogs.

The Meijer LPGA Classic at the Blythefield Country Club is, no doubt, setting an example for other golfing tournaments. Hopefully, other venues will soon follow suit.
