The golfer, apparently, was readying herself to welcome her first child. And now, more than a year later, she is getting ready to welcome her second baby.

The athlete had shared the news of her second pregnancy on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” where she appeared as a guest back in May. And now, three months later, the ex-pro has uploaded a post on her Instagram handle while sharing happy pictures of her baby shower. It shows the athlete receiving a lot of gifts for her baby as she celebrates the special day with friends and family. “Feeling so grateful and thankful for these moments,” wrote West. “It was a long road to even get to this point and I am so thankful to be here, celebrating this moment with friends and family. We can’t wait to meet you baby brother.”

Michelle Wie West had given birth to her first child, Makenna Kamalei Yoona West, back on June 19, 2020. Little did her fans know that three years later, she would bid farewell to the professional side of the sport to focus on her daughter. Well, she now has one more reason to add to her list, and her fans didn’t shy away from exuding their support for the athlete.

Michelle Wie West turned pro in 2005. Interestingly, throughout the course of her career, the golfer has raked in a total of 5 victories, including a major win, the latter of which came at the 2014 U.S. Women’s Open. A fan couldn’t help but comment, “Miss you in golf but happy you are happy.”

The 34-year-old athlete had, back in May, joined Jimmy Fallon’s show as a guest to promote both the 2024 Mizuho Americas Open and an NBC documentary about the ex-pro herself, “Dream Big: The Michelle Wie Story.” And it was just then she announced, “Yeah, we have baby No. 2 coming.” The audience erupted with a lot of cheers as they exuded nothing short of support for the golfer’s future. And many admirers couldn’t shy away from complimenting her and the baby bump she sported as they responded, “You are glowing mama. So beautiful,” and “Gorgeous mama!!”

Many have extended their hand to support the golfer during her second pregnancy, including her business partner, Nike. Back in July, the apparel company sent three adorable pairs of shoes for her unborn son, along with some clothes to wear as she sports her baby bump. The love, however, didn’t end with just the swoosh, as other close friends also expressed the same, as some conveyed their joy about joining her for the baby shower, “So fun!! Delighted to have joined and celebrated the baby boy,” and “Eager for the family addition.”
