The LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour now head to the Dundonald Links in Scotland to compete in the $2 million event. Among the many big names playing is also Charley Hull, who has proven her excellence time and time again, once even becoming the youngest member to participate in the prestigious Solheim Cup. However, recently, the English golfer hasn’t been at her best and even suffered an early exit at Evian Golf Club last week.

But it now seems like Hull has put this past her and is only looking forward. Ahead of this week’s event, she opened up to the media, and it seems like her latest skill, a.k.a., her ‘off-the-course drive’, has helped her bid adieu to the Amundi Evan Championship blues!

In June, the 27-year-old tied for the second position at the Women’s US Open after her marvelous score of 6 under 66 in the final round. However, in the major that followed, the Amundi Evian Championship, she failed to make the cut. But after missing the cut in the majors, the English golfer is all decked up to try her driving skills at the Freed Group Women’s Scottish Open.

Ahead of that, however, Hull is excited about her other driving skill, a.k.a., being on the road behind the wheel. During the pre-tournament conference, Hull revealed that she had driven to Scotland since she just recently received her driving license. When asked if she was enjoying driving now that she had passed the test. The LPGA pro replied, “Yeah, I enjoy it now. I find it a bit boring sometimes, but I enjoy it.”

She then shared that another good thing about driving is not relying on taxis and Uber, which saves a lot of money. The golfer said that she could have saved a lot of money if she had not spent it on cabs, but she thinks that all of this is just fun. It turns out that driving is not the only thing that Hull loves, but she loves one more thing a lot.

Apart from talking about her love for driving, The 2X champion shares that she loves to play in Europe and enjoys it thoroughly because it is not too far away from her home. She then revealed that she is a very homey person and loves to stay in the comfort of her home because she gets really homesick.

Sharing how she manages the situation, she said she likes to spend two weeks on the golf course and then two weeks at home. If she doesn’t follow this schedule and spends too much time on the course, she is not able to concentrate on the game and keeps on wishing that she was at home and not on the greens.
