Days prior to the Solheim Cup, US golfer Danielle Kang lost her bag during the transit while coming to Spain. Though initially she faced a lot of problems, a couple of days later, the golf star found herself having two sets instead of zero. In an interview prior to the tournament, the golfer revealed how the captain Stacy Lewis was keeping track of her clubs during the whole time.
It was the American captain herself who announced how they went from “none to 2” on social media. She had even attached a picture of Kang hugging the bag of her plastic-covered brand-new clubs. While the new set was received from Ping, the golf star subsequently also received her old set from America.
However, it is important to note how the golfer’s prodigal putter had made the trip. She mentioned it being packed separately in a rifle case. Noting that the intent behind this was for the putter to not get bent before the golfer played with it on the Spanish greens. Well! The decision seemed to have turned out well. Kang seems to be delivering quite well with her “special” putter at the event.
The American professional elaborated how the custom-made club designer Scotty Cameron’s help allows her to switch between the three molds efficiently. Prior to this, the club has also worked in favor of the 30-year-old Californian who ranks second in putts per green on the LPGA Tour.

Danielle Kang took the whole thing rather well. Even as she was yet to receive her gear before the event, the golfer chuckled about the entirety of the situation.
Calling it an adventure, she said, “If it wasn’t a dramatic entrance, it wouldn’t be my life.” While thanking everyone around her who stood by her side during this time, Kang expressed how her focus prior to receiving the club was to check out the condition of the course. Embracing a positive outlook, the LPGA icon stated, “It is what it is. You gotta roll with the punches.”
