Celine Boutier has quickly become a fan favorite after her maiden major win in France and is displaying quite a bit of momentum at the Freed Group Women’s Scottish Open. She is in the lead as she enters the final round on Sunday, but it seems that she is a bit tired from all the golf that she is playing. Despite being tired, she is showcasing stellar resilience on the course.

After her third round, she sat down with the media and was asked about how easy it is to keep going when a golfer is playing good golf. She responded that playing a good round makes it easier to forego fatigue and helps you be a bit more positive about the outcome. Stating an example, she said, “I kind of made a bogey on 9, which kind of also like fired me up a little bit. So it kind of was nice to get some more energy going.”

Just her fatigue was the only thing hindering her game, but even the harsh weather played a substantial role in the 29-year-old’s game. Saturday was a rainy and windy day on the course. The 4-time LPGA winner talked about how cold it was on the course and how it raised the difficulty of the game. Commenting on the complete situation, she said, “I mean, I expected a lot worse, to be honest.”
