Adding to her list of wins and top earnings was her other most prosperous performance at the HSBC Women’s World Championship, where she ranked first and won $270,000—her second-highest earnings this season.
Ko was truly on a winning spree this year. She was also the runner-up at the CPKC Women’s Open, which fetched her a sweet sum of $232,029 (her third-highest earnings of the season). Tracing her top-ten finishes of the year further illustrates how she registered her name in the million-dollar club.
This year was surely a fruitful contribution to the 15-time LPGA Tour winner’s career earnings, taking it to a whopping $11,915,700. All in all, it is safe to say that the LPGA star had a blockbuster year. Did Young Ko miss any cuts this season?
Even though Jin Young Ko had an overall blessed year, it was not without hardships. She missed the cut at the much-awaited US Women’s Open. She also underwent a major injury at the ANNIKA, which impacted her performance at the CME Group Tour Championship, the year-end event on the women’s side.
