The 2023 Solheim Cup has been the epitome of golfing prowess in women’s golf. Not only the experienced crew but the rookies from both teams have been able to script their dominance. It has been a rollercoaster ride to all intents and purposes, from the time when the Americans won all foursomes on Friday to the European team’s grand comeback thereafter.
But not everything is great at the event. There have been reports of mismanagement and the organizers have come under fire. However, in a massive relief for spectators, the problems now have been addressed by the Ladies European Tour to a tee.

In a recent statement released by the Ladies European Tour, it was acknowledged that there had been a “delay in replenishing some of the food and beverage outlets” on Friday. However, the concern had been immediately taken up and resolved by the authorities.
LET wrote: “We have resolved the situation, ensuring the availability of food and water around the course.” The European body informed it had spoken to Deporte & Business, the event organizers, and that things were now under control after the initial mess-up.
In the statement, LET called the fans “the heart and soul of the Solheim Cup”, and said the organization was dedicated to giving them the best possible experience.

Additionally, she brought to light how the tickets for the biennial event have been oversold with “nowhere near enough seating for the number of people.” Citing an example from yesterday, she wrote, “Between queuing and waiting, it was almost an hour for a burger if you could find one.”
The golf at @TheSolheimCup has been spectacular. The logistics and organisation of it all has been horrendous. Running out of food, coffee, water. Completely oversold with nowhere near enough seating for the number of people here. It’s actually a health risk. Thread 🧵 👇
