The world of golf is surely very exciting, with many amateur golfers reaching the zenith, and professional golfers outdoing themselves every day. Lately, it has been an extremely interesting time in golf with the young prodigies such as Rose Zhang rising to immense fame, and getting her long-due recognition from her peers all around. 

Well, this time, one more amateur golfer is getting appreciation from the former LPGA star and fan-favorite Michelle Wie West. Wie West is praising her junior not for golf though, but for guns! Let’s find out more.

The former professional golfer and the 1-time major champion has always been a strong advocate for women in golf. She has always believed that women’s golf is just as important and it will be reaching new heights in the future. As a proud female golfer, every achievement of her fraternity makes her immensely proud. This time, other than Zhang, another Stanford collegiate has made her proud and she is Rachel Heck.

Rachel Heck is an amateur golfer, but she has been on a break from the sport since last October because of her injury. She underwent surgery in March for thoracic outlet syndrome and has been resting. But the amateur golfer is now back, but not with a club, but rather with a gun. She successfully completed her field training and posted a picture of herself and the squad on her Instagram.

West was very proud of the young star, as she reposted her post on her Instagram story, and wrote about another Stanford girl who was making her heart shine with pride. She wrote, “All my @Stanford girlies are so effing BAD*SSSS.”  Lately, West is just beaming with pride because of all the magic that Stanford stars are creating on the course, and off the course. She just some hours back praised Rose Zhang as well.

West appreciated Rose Zhang for her stellar record

The LPGA phenom Rose Zhang has been on a roll ever since she made her debut in the event that Michelle Wie West hosted. Zhang won her debut event and has competed in 3 majors since her debut win. To everyone’s amazement, the 20-year-old has finished in the top 10 in all three majors. That is basically, a 100% record of the top 10 so far.

Recently, after the conclusion of the Amundi Evian Championship, the LPGA senior congratulated the Stanford Star and said that she believes that Zhang is indeed built differently.
