When Nelly Korda walks into a golf course, everyone has their eyes on her. Embodying this idea in the form of a T-shirt that states “Everyone Watches Nelly Korda” is the brand, Togethxr. The pro golfer’s presence affirms the brand’s motto of “We’re here, we’re tuned in, and you can’t turn us down.” This shirt is a sequel to the larger merch idea of the brand, named “Everyone Watches Women’s Sports.”
The brand views this tee shirt as a statement of enthusiasm and support for the unstoppable rise of women’s sports. It takes pride in raising awareness and honoring the “changing landscape of women’s sports and the trailblazing athletes who redefine the game.” It is co-founded by four of the world’s greatest athletes, namely, USWNT icon Alex Morgan, WNBA star Sue Bird, Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim, and Olympic swimmer Simone Manuel, each representing a different shade and perspective of the world of women’s sports.
But how can you get your hands on the “Everyone Watches Nelly Korda” T-shirt? After all, the brand’s objective is for a good cause. It aims to spread awareness of the fact that women make up 44% of all participants in sports, yet only receive less than 16% of sports media coverage.

But how did Alex Morgan get this visionary idea after all?
The “important” birth of Togethxr through the lens of Alex Morgan
The founding stone of Togethxr’s existence was laid over six years ago by Alex Morgan, who wanted to change the narrative of women in sports, obtaining little to no coverage. With the experience of being at the top of her soccer game and the support of her co-founders, Morgan now envisions a better future for women in sports, with equal and inclusive recognition being imparted for their efforts.

Talking about her motivation behind this, Morgan said, “Women in sports are not just one thing anymore, however. We have interests outside of sport, although it is the one thing that brings so many of us together. It was important to give space and platform to all girls and women who feel like sports are a part of their life, in a big way or small.”
In less than a decade of its existence, the brand has been making active efforts to stand true to its vision. Don’t you think so? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned!
