The fourth major of the 2023 women’s golf season is just near its end. The Amundi Evian Championship is in full form after three rounds and the anticipation regarding who will win is high. French golfer, Celine Boutier is leading the scoreboard with a cumulative score of 11 under so far. 

The golfer is all geared up for her major victory at her home ground. But it seems that along with the excitement, the golfer is a bit tensed too! How do we know? Well, we just guessed it from the viral video of the golfer that has been surfacing online. 

Celine Boutier seems to be nervous or a bit confused as the tournament nears end

The French golfer is among one of the best golfers in the championship, and is one of the front runners for the highly coveted title and a hefty share of the $6.5 million prize money. If the golfer wins, it will be her maiden major victory and to have it on her home ground would make it even more special. The 29-year-old came a step closer to her dream win on Saturday as she shot four-under 67 to take a three-shot lead for the final round.

With light rain, the Frenchwoman was yearning to make France’s dream come true. Even 9 years before the tournament was awarded the status of major in 2013, no French female golfer had won the Evian Championship. Let alone winning, no French golfer even has been a runner-up! Amid the pressure of creating history, Boutier looked a bit confused and a bit stressed in the video that was shared by the LPGA Tour on its Instagram page.

The golfer was standing on the course, with a white umbrella and was keenly observing something. The post said, “What is @celineboutier thinking? 💭” with intriguing yet suspenseful music playing in the background.  The golfer was twitching her eyes and appeared to be in deep thought thinking about something extremely serious.

Boutier’s video quickly went viral on social media and garnered a lot of attention from fans. Fans had a lot of mixed reactions to the video.
