2023 was supposed to be a revival year for the 28-year-old star as her last win on the LPGA came in 2019. She was all set to make the highly anticipated stellar comeback this year, but she sadly couldn’t. She was not able to make a lot of cuts this year, but in Cincinnati, she got the boost of confidence that she badly needed ahead of the Solheim Cup.

Kroger Queen City Championship was one of the reviving events for the star as she made the cut, and finished in the 19th position on the leaderboard. With the Solheim Cup just being at arm’s length, her being able to make the cut was like a cherry on top.

In her recent interview, as reported by Golf Week, the 2014 Chevron Championship winner shared what kept her going throughout the season. She said, “It is important to block out the outside noise and to just go out there and play fearless, aggressive golf.”
