The visitors on European soil expressed pride in their performance despite the results. On Sunday, it all came down to Carlota Ciganda vs American superstar Nelly Korda in singles. The former won to ensure Europe won’t lose the Cup.
So Europe denied America national glory after a staggering comeback to tie the contest at 14-14. Be that as it may, the big sister on the LPGA tour Danielle Kang finds something to be thankful for amid the Solheim Cup fall.

The tournament is over but the LPGA players still cannot stop thinking about the Solheim Cup. The biennial event makes players wait for a while until they have a chance to redeem themselves. But Danielle Kang’s post is a hopeful visual of America’s prowess on the greens and the bright future ahead.
Kang took to Instagram and updated a thread of pictures from Finca Cortesin in Andalucia. All the players on Team USA roster are present in the thread. It was a culmination of their days in Spain and it left some rookies in the “Solheim Family” really emotional.
She thanked everyone for a beautiful experience, including the opponents. “Every single one of you made my week. Thank You for being yourselves and bringing out the best in me & each other. Vamos European Team, did we showcase some great golf or what? Unreal. Congratulations again.”

One of the rookie players on the American team, Andrea Lee turned in a 1-2-1 during the Solheim Cup. She commented on Danielle Kang’s post, “Thanks for pushing me up hills and being the best partner. Ilsym unnie [unnie means elder sister in Korean]!!🇺🇸.” Kang and Lee were partners on the famous morning when America swept Europe clean 4-0 during the Friday foursomes.
US Women’s Open winner Allisen Corpuz also commented on the post. “The shoes made me cry Saturday night you’re the best!” She is referring to an earlier heartfelt gesture by Danielle Kang. And rightly so! Kang has been carrying the team in her heart even before the Solheim Cup began; its signs were on her shoes.
