West took to Instagram to express her heartfelt prayers and thoughts for the affected people and the land. The American professional golfer headed to her Instagram story and wrote, “Praying for Lahaina.” After a few hours had passed, the 33-year-old golfer once again took to her Instagram stories to share a video that provided a glimpse of the ongoing fire situation in the historic town.

Alongside the video, the 2014 U.S. Women’s Open Winner wrote a heartfelt caption, expressing her deep concern and shared worry for the town and its residents. “Praying and Praying everyone made it/makes it out safe and sound.” Everyone, even the golfing community, has been taken aback by the unforeseen crisis, which has resulted in tragic loss of life.
