After Disappointing Her Country Men, Brooke Henderson Gives Fellow Canadians a Reason To Be Proud of Her

The Canadian Women’s Open took place from August 24 to August 27. For the venue, it has chosen Shaughnessy Golf Course. Several LPGA players participated in the tournament for the hefty payout and winner’s title, and one of the golfers was Brooke Henderson as well. Now, while this Canadian golfer played in her hometown, the expectations were naturally bigger than ever. 

But as a matter of dismay, the LPGA phenom couldn’t live up to the expectations of her fellow countrymen and ended up as a runner-up. Despite that, she has managed to win the hearts of her countrymen with yet another sweet gesture, thus drawing the attention of fans. 

Brooke Henderson makes a surprising gesture to win the hearts of her fellow Canadians

Brooke Henderson is a famous name on the LPGA circuit, and her career so far has been quite successful. She has two major wins, which include the 2022 Evian Championship as well. But as far as her putting skills were concerned, on the Canadian fields, they faltered and landed her at T13. 

In the CPKC Women’s Open, she had a total of 75-68-75-68 in the four rounds. While Megan Khang was the winner with a score of 279, Henderson had a score of 286 at the end. And the difference of seven points quite clearly affected the 25-year-old by making her lose the winner’s trophy with a significant difference in the scoreboard. 

But apart from all the failures and adversities, she made a sweet gesture on Instagram, which garnered the attention of many fans. In the post, she uploaded a picture of her with the winner of the tournament, Megan Khang, and wrote, “CPKC Women’s Open Week 🇨🇦 Thank you Almighty God! 🙏🏻😊 Praise be to God! Happy to finish T-13 and Low Canadian! Thank you for all the love and support #BrookeBrigade ❤️ I have the best fans in the world!”Thus, she sheds light on the fact that she’s grateful to the omnipotent to have finished at T13, and she also acknowledged the support she received from her fans. 

In addition to this, she also said, “Congratulations @cpkcrail and #cpkchasheart on another amazing event and for raising $3.5 million for children’s heart health! #ProudAmbassador Congrats @megan_khang! 🏆 👏🏻” She congratulates Khang from the core of her heart.
