Team USA’s Unofficial Non-Playing Pair Goes the Extra Mile For the Women in Red Thanks to Morgan Pressel

The Solheim Cup has kicked off with incredible enthusiasm, as the players are putting forth their maximum effort to outdo the opposing team. This biennial event has managed to attract fans from all around the world. One particular couple that has shown their support for Team US in a truly unique fashion has caught the attention of golfer and commentator Morgan Pressel.

Pressel, even though she is no longer a pro golfer, has a separate fan base of her own. And the couple in question seem to be leading that cohort. Having known the analyst for years now, the pair are only building on the excitement surrounding the event with their “amazing” gesture!

Morgan Pressel publicly celebrates with her biggest fans

Morgan Pressel, the American golfer turned analyst, is thrilled to support Team USA this week. During her pro career, the diva participated in the Solheim Cup six times and proudly displays three Solheim Cups on her cap. However, time has passed since then. In the middle of the pandemic, Pressel decided to give commentary a shot.

The ex-golf pro quickly adapted to her new role and is now a renowned analyst for the NBC Golf Channel. However, even though she’s switched sides in the golf world, fans have stayed loyal to her, especially her die-hard fan Isabelle Trohel from France.

For years now, Trohel has followed Pressel around the world in person and in spirit, and a few years ago, in a tweet, she even attributed her passion for the sport to the analyst’s influence and expressed how much she has grown to love it even more. And just like she was at the 2018 Ryder Cup for Trohel, she was at this year’s Soheim Cup for her too! With her husband, the No. 1 fan was seen cheering and showing support for Team USA and Pressel.

The couple wore a blow-up chicken costume printed in American colors and took a photo with the analyst at the course in Spain. Pressel even recorded the thrilling moment and posted it on her Instagram story, exclaiming, The golfer exclaimed, “Love to see it,” and, complimenting the duo, said, “You’re amazing. I love it!”

Unsurprisingly, thanks to how big a fan Trohel is, this isn’t the pair’s first interaction. Their journey began many years ago and has seen many heartwarming moments since!

Pressel once proved to the world that her relationship with Trohel was extraordinary

Pressel began playing golf when she was 8, crediting her grandfather. When she was still an amateur, she won the American Junior Golf Association Award. At the budding age of 12, the golfer even became the youngest player to qualify for the US Open. It’s because of these achievements that the likes of Trohel are drawn to her, despite her no longer playing professionally on the greens!

Since the time the Pressel was on the course, Trohel has always been there to offer her support with numerous encouraging tweets. Their bond has only grown stronger over the years, and their friendship thrives. The ex-golf pro has even called Isabelle her biggest fan on Twitter, flaunting to the world that their bond is a different gravy!

As the Solheim Cup progresses, undoubtedly more heartwarming moments will come to light; however, whether they will hold a candle to the strong bond between the analyst and the fan remains to be seen!
