But for Megan, the pressure will take some more time to set in as the LPGA star has emerged fresh out from a win. And in an interview ahead of the new tournament, she has gone ahead to narrate an episode she had with her boyfriend and her colleague after the win.
Addressing the press conference ahead of the $1.5 event, the 25-year-old mentioned how her boyfriend and Korda surprised her after getting to Oregon for the tournament. The 8X LPGA winner and her teammate for the upcoming Solheim Cup was showing her the champ’s room, which to her surprise, was filled with balloons.
Moreover, the Canadian Women’s Open winner mentioned how she started tearing up after the balloons and the flowers that she received from her boyfriend. Continuing with her response, the LPGA pro said, “I had no idea that was going to happen. I was like, wow, this is crazy, and it really hit” as she expressed her surprise for the same.

The American professional had managed to emerge victorious at the Canadian Women’s Open with a stunning display of golf. She marked her first win in her career with a score of 9-under 279 taking home a cut of $375,000 from the purse. Although Khang could only manage a 74 (+2) on the fourth and final day tieing with Jin Young Ko, she scored an even par in the following playoff hole while her South Korean counterpart registered a 2-over-par.
