However, the LIV CEO, Greg Norman, attended an interview at Palm Beach Post in July, where he was asked about women’s LIV. According to Norman, the authorities have been discussing it internally, and there is a potential opportunity for women on LIV Golf in the coming years. Now, will the players go for it?

The Aramco Team Series winner, Nelly Korda, is transparent with her intentions, reflected in her statement. According to her, she is not the type of person who focuses on speculations. As the news of Women’s golf was a mere speculation, her only focus was LPGA. “My eyes are set on the LPGA. That’s all speculation to me. I’m focusing on the LPGA Tour and what’s in front of me,” said Korda.

Lexi Thompson, the youngest golfer to qualify U.S. Women’s Open, also put forward her views. According to her, LIV golf is not under their control. However, there have been discussions, but no official information was shared. Therefore, she is doing whatever she can on the LPGA. Thompson said, “I know Mollie said that she would have conversations but that’s not in our control. We are just doing what we can on our tour.”
LIV Golf is coming on strong for next year. They will hold their first event in 2023 in Australia. However, the circuit will be re-branded as the LIV Golf League next year. They decided in light of LIV’s criticism due to its ties with Saudi Arabia. However, unlike men’s golf, women’s golf already has relations with Saudi. Aramco, the Saudi Arabian petroleum and natural gas company, is associated with the Ladies European Tour.

How much did LIV pay its players?
LIV has paid $255 million as prize money and bonuses for this year’s eight events. However, it is said that next year, LIV will bump the prize to $405 million for 14 events in 2023.
