The Korda sisters are extremely popular in the golf world. But this year, only Nelly Korda got to participate in the Solheim Cup. The reason behind the same is her elder sibling, Jessica Korda’s, hiatus from golf on account of her expecting a baby soon. Throughout the event, she even posted a few pictures of her baby bump alongside her Solheim Cup and Ryder Cup updates.

Now, days after the Ryder Cup, Jessica Korda pens down a heartfelt message for one American veteran who gave it his all at the international face-off. The reason for the message surprisingly had nothing to do with his performance at the prestigious event itself, but rather with the personal milestone that soon followed the loss!

Jessica Korda virtually participates in her fellow American’s happiness

The USA battalion had a drought this year. The situation was the same for both the Solheim Cup and the Ryder Cup. This year, Europe won the trophy in both international tournaments, leaving American fans and players in huge dismay. But among the turmoil too, some American pros shone brightly, and one of them was Patrick Cantlay, who tried his best to keep Team USA afloat with his two of four wins!

The first came in the four balls, and the next came on the final day against Justin Rose. Despite his efforts, though, glory was not written in America’s fate. However, for Cantlay, were celebrations still in order? Not for the loss, of course, but for the fact he revealed in a presser after the event that his time in Italy was still ending on a happy note, thanks to him getting married” the next day.

And just hours later, the 31-year-old got married to his longtime girlfriend, Nikki Guidish, with whom he got engaged in 2022. And among the many who congratulated thecouple, was also Jessica Korda, who posted a heartfelt post on Instagram. The LPGA star posted a story of both, where Cantlay is seen in a pitch-black tuxedo and Guidish is wearing a white bridal dress. With that, she wrote, “The most beautifully intimate wedding of our favorites”.

The exact date when Patrick and Nikki got together remains unknown; however, the couple made appearances in several tournaments together. Nikki went to Whistling Straits in 2021 to cheer for her man at the last Ryder Cup, and the pair walked away happy when the USA won 19-9. That same year, they were also seen at the Memorial Tournament.

In 2022, the couple finally got engaged in Napa, California. The proposal took place when Patrick unexpectedly got down on his knee and poped the question to his then-girlfriend during a wine tasting. The pair have since been as happy as can be, and the several pictures on Guidish’s Instagram stand testament to that and the love between them.

Undoubtedly alongside Korda, the entire golf world wishes the PGA Tour star a hearty congrats as he heads onto a new chapter in his life!
