Nelly Korda and Lexi Thompson shared their views about the potential Women’s LIV Golf league
American professional golfers, Korda and Thompson, were asked about their stance regarding the rumored LIV Golf league for women. It was at the Glen Oaks Club, New York where the two were present for the upcoming Aramco Team Series event. The two gave their honest opinions about the news but tried to stay diplomatic about the matter.
The interviewers asked the two if LIV Golf for women would receive the same amount of hate as the men’s league. “I would say that without the support of Aramco, LET would not be as strong as it is today,” Thompson said. “They are trying to grow the women’s game, and I support that fully.”

And to support her statements, Korda nodded her head to agree with her. When asked if any of the two would want to be a part of the LIV Golf league, Korda said, “I mean, right now that’s kind of speculation. As a player, I don’t really know and that is not in my hands. That’s for the Tour commissioner…I’m focusing on the LPGA Tour…all the LIV stuff going on, that’s all speculation and I don’t focus on speculations.” While Thompson said that talks were going on about the matter, there is still no official statement from the officials yet.

It was the first time in three years that Lexi Thompson lifted a winner’s trophy in a tournament. The golfer finished the final round with a 69 at the Trump Golf Links Ferry Point and claimed victory over many strong players.
Thompson said that her strategy to win the game was similar on both days. She chose to be aggressive and played some powerful shots on the course. The 27-year-old golf star said she wanted to play fearlessly, and that helped her win the title in New York.
