Angel Yin’s recent meeting with a former POTUS

The famous LPGA sensation has had destiny on her side for most of October. The October charm reflected on her career as she went on to break her winless drought by winning the Buick LPGA Shanghai this year. However, that was not all of Yin’s luck. Yin not only met with the famous former POTUS, Barack Obama, but she also got recognized and complimented by him. It was truly an experience worth a million bucks for the LPGA star. She recently shared her fairytale-like story in an interview.

She was asked how her recent meeting with the former POTUS went. Angel Yin answered, “Yeah, I met Obama. I was playing with our friends. And then my friend goes you want to go meet him once? Like, meet a president? Yeah, of course. We just drove up and then he came over… He said that you brought a professional golfer. I’m like, wait. Do you know who I am? He said yeah, of course…”

All in all, Angel Yin’s recent experience surely put her on cloud nine. It is truly a delight for anyone to be recognized and have their career known by a former President. October is definitely Yin’s month, and its evidence lies in her recent accomplishments.

Angel’s recent health setback

October has largely been Yin’s month except for this major incident that occurred a few days ago when she had to face a health setback. The 25-year-old faced a major injury during the first round of the Maybank Championship. This sad occurrence forced Yin to withdraw from the Championship.
