The youngest major in women’s golf, the Amundi Evian Championship, will be held next weekend at Evian Resort Golf Club in France. The tournament will have elite women golfers vying for the major trophy and an impressive prize purse of $6.5 million. The 29th edition of the tournament will star Jin Young Ko, Nelly Korda, Lydia Ko, Brooke Henderson, and others. With just one week left for the event, let’s dive into all the details you need to know about it!

On what channels can fans catch the broadcast of the 2023 Amundi Evian Championship?

Though the event is being hosted in France, it will receive international coverage. Many countries around the world can watch the event on television. Fans in the United States and Canada will be able to watch the event on Golf Channel, while in Latin America it will be broadcast on Discovery. In Australia, on the other hand, the event will be broadcast on Fox Sports, while in New Zealand it will be televised on Sky.

In the Czech Republic, Romania, and Hungary, it will be available on Golf Channel CZ. On-Course ticket availability and food availability

Fans who wish to feel the thrill and excitement of watching the women’s major tournament live could definitely enjoy it at the Evian Resort Golf Club by purchasing a ticket for one day on the entire weekend. The ticket for one day costs €25; for two days it is €40; for three days it is €55; and for the entire weekend it is €65. Once the purchase is made, the pass is valid for the date of the person’s choice. Moreover, admission for children and PGA golf professionals under the age of 18 is free.

There is also the elite option of premium tickets, which offer the opportunity to experience the tournament in privileged conditions. With this ticket, seating will be located in the heart of the course, and the audience will have access to the Panoramic Bar, a premium space overlooking hole 16 with a breathtaking view over the golf course and Lake Geneva. The price of the tickets is slightly higher than the regular ones. For 1 day, it is €100; €200 for 2 days; for 3 days, it is €280; and for 4 days, it is €360. An added benefit is that snacks and drinks will be served all day.

Those not opting for the premium tickets will not have to go home hungry at the end of the day either. Food courts are available at holes 5 and 15, and fans can head there to eat and watch their favorite players on the course.

How can fans reach the venue of the 2023 Amundi Evian Championship?

There are several ways to reach the Evian Resort Golf Club. Local people could use bikes to reach the location where free bicycle parking is installed during the tournament. It will be located at the main entrance for the public and at the bottom of the Evian golf course.

People living in neighboring cities could drive over in their cars too. From Paris, the distance is 580 km, via A6, A40, N206, and RN5. From Annecy, it is 85 km by A41, N206, or RN5. And from Geneva, the distance is 45 km by RN5 or Autoroute de la Suisse (exit Villeneuve, 25km). Plenty of parking is available at the site for all the golf enthusiasts’ vehicles.

People who wish to take the train could do so from the SNCF train station in Evian les Bains, which would be Via the “Léman Express” train network, TGV, and TER. Or boats could also be taken from Lausanne to Evian, where regular shuttles run every 35 minutes. People who are planning on visiting by air could catch flights from Geneva Cointrin International Airport, which is located 45 km from Evian-les-Bains. Or from the nearby Lyon Airport or Annecy-Meythet Airport.
