Former professional golfer, Paige Spiranac, is now a successful social media influencer. The woman has more than 260,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel and over 3.5 million followers on Instagram. Spiranac also runs her podcast by the name ‘Playing A Round with Paige Renee’ where she talks about golf and her personal life.
Spiranac gave up her professional golfing career a few years ago.. She made her debut as a pro in 2015 at the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters through a sponsor’s invitation. While everyone else doubted the golfer’s abilities, English professional golf star, Laura Davies, had a different approach towards Spiranac.

Laura Davies gives her opinion on Paige Spiranac’s game
Before the event took place, Laura Davies said a few kind words to back the Instagram sensation. The Englishwoman admitted that she didn’t know Spiranac “from a bar of soap.” But she still chose to support her as a true athlete.

Davies said, “Everyone needs a chance, and if she’s a good player, then it’s great she’s here.” She added, “If she’s here for any other reason than she’s a great golfer, then it’s a little bit pointless.” But we have to give her a chance.”
The senior golfer had no idea of what Spiranac had achieved as a social media personality. The 85-time winner worldwide said that she doesn’t like to tweet or use Facebook and called herself “old-fashioned”.

Will Paige Spiranac switch back to professional golf?
As per her statements in a podcast, she said she wanted to keep growing in the field of social media and work harder at the same time. She also mentioned that she had no plans to go back to professional golf. “I am, you know, number one with what I’m doing, especially on Instagram. So that’s where my real focus is. “

Spiranac explained that she does not feel like she belongs among such talented women on the course. Like any ambitious human, she wants to be number one at what she does. But she doesn’t see a chance to make that happen on the field anytime soon.
