Following Europe’s historic victory at the 2023 Solheim Cup, American veteran Jessica Korda took to Instagram to highlight a pivotal moment from the match.
Korda shared a post from the official LPGA account on her Instagram story. The post included a video of Carlota Ciganda making her final putt, captioned “Carlota claims the Cup.” Korda shared the video on her story and added, “What a moment for @carlotagolf to retain the cup.”
Carlota Ciganda secured a crucial victory for Team Europe in her play against Nelly Korda. Nelly scored a 1 against Carlota Ciganda’s 3, contributing to the overall score of 14-13 in favor of Europe.

Despite Jessica Korda’s absence from the course due to back issues and pregnancy, Korda has remained closely connected to this season’s game. The golf enthusiast has actively engaged in social media conversations related to the sport and has shared her live reactions on Twitter as well.

After the first day of the Solheim Cup, where America delivered a clean sweep of 4-0 against Europe during the morning foursomes, Jessica Korda notably praised Leona Maguire’s matchplay skills during one of Leona Maguire’s matches.

Maguire, partnered with Anna Nordqvist, got off to a strong start by winning the first hole with a par. However, the American team, led by Nelly Korda and Bianca Pagdanganan, quickly established a two-hole lead through a series of solid performances starting from the third hole.

However, Team Europe definitely won the war despite losing the battle, all thanks to Ciganda!
