Days After Her $75,000 Win, Nelly Korda Flexes Her Winning Money With a Prized Possession

The Aramco Team Series ended on a good note on July 16, marking a win for Nelly Korda. This event at the Centurion Club in London proved to be a hit for the LPGA golfer, as she dominated it from the beginning to bring home the trophy and a whopping $75,000, as well as her first win this year.

Soon after winning the third Ladies European Tour event of her career, it seems that she is flexing her money on what she loves the most. On Thursday, Korda shared her latest purchase with her fans. Jump in with us to see what it is!

Korda, a well-known golfer, is known not just for her incredible strokes on the greens but also for her extensive shoe collection. Often, fans catch a glimpse of the LPGA star wearing some exclusive and captivating shoes on the course. And now, with her latest purchase, she’s added to that collection!

Taking to Instagram, the 3-time LET winner flaunted her latest pair of sneakers that she picked up soon after her $75,000 victory. Posting a story wearing the new shoes, she wrote, “So obsessed with these shoes that I ordered them in every color:)”

Well, for those not too familiar with the shoes, the 2021 Women’s PGA Championship winner is donning the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 40 White Black Grey DV 3853-102, which roughly cost around $119.88. The kicks come in six different colors, and the LPGA has bought them all, spending approximately $720 on them!

Although some may consider this to be a ridiculous amount to spend on shoes in one go, there’s probably no one who deserves it more than the 24-year-old. And especially after her brilliant performance at the London event of the Aramco Team Series, she certainly deserved to treat herself!

The first round of the Aramco Team Series in London began on the 14th of July, and Korda took home the Individual event’s trophy at the end of the event! The LPGA star played a stunning first round of 5 under par and followed that up with a just as brilliant performance during the second round of 4 under par.

On Sunday, to clinch victory, Korda shot three birdies and one eagle to beat the stunning golfer Charley Hull by three strokes. Adding yet another title to her name, the 8-time LPGA winner also took home the massive check, on which she’s spent only over 1% on her shoes!
