World no. 5 Ludvig Aberg has not had a great season this year. He has been plagued with the challenges of his knee injury since August 2024. While he got the injury diagnosed pretty early, it was not until September 2024 that he actually went under the knife.
Since September 5, Aberg had been recovering, and relaxing, and also longing to come back to the course. His wish finally came through as Ludvig Aberg joined his fellow PGA Tour pros at the RSM Classic 2024.
We can’t really say that it was a bad comeback. He was tied at 17, 6 points away from the top of the table. While most of the top pros will be disappointed with the performance, Aberg rejoiced every moment of it. The 25-year-old was excited to be coming back to playing course. Moreover, as unsuccessful as he was at the end of it, Aberg was still quite excited to defend his RSM Classic trophy.
