Golf can be an infuriating sport at times, and no one knows it better than Tyrrell Hatton. Despite being a fan favorite leading up to the event, the 31-year-old visibly struggled on the course on Thursday. But, the golfer’s viral moment came in the aftermath of a poor bunker shot.

The frustrated golfer proved that he was only human as he went on to visibly flip off the sand trap on the ninth hole. Hatton’s reaction didn’t come as a big surprise to fans, who are already familiar with his fiery nature on the greens. In fact, fans on Twitter were thoroughly entertained, with one saying that the sport needed more such memorable moments.

One even referred to the golfer as an antithesis to fellow PGA Tour compatriot Jordan Spieth, who is known for his calm and collected nature. Some fans can’t wait to see more of his on-course behavior.

The golfer had also appeared at the Wells Fargo Championship last week, where he tied for the 3rd position. He took home a jaw-dropping $1,180,01 in earnings following his good outing on Quail Hollow Golf Course.
