PGA Tour Pro Akshay Bhatia is a man known to be lucky both on and off the course. The 22-year-old has been in a relationship with his fiance, Presleigh Schultz, for three years now. He very wittily slid into her DMs, and well, Schultz too was not shy to carry out a conversation with a stranger. They hit it off immediately. 

And well, she ended up caddying for him in his first Korn Ferry Tour victory event at the Bahamas Great Exuma Classic in January 2022. Presleigh Schultz did indeed turn out to be a lucky charm for Bhatia, and he knew this was the beginning of his fairytale. A little over a year and a half, the happy couple announced their engagement to the fans on September 9.

The American professional proposed to her in the classic old-school pattern of getting down on one knee at the Napa Valley Wine Country. They celebrated later with a bottle of red wine and some quality time. In the caption, he wrote, “Here’s to forever.” Well, the golf community simply loves the duo and cannot get enough of them, as Bhatia continues to display public affection online. 

Even recently, a few hours ago, he took to his official Instagram account and shared a series of pictures showcasing their beautiful watches. And well, it is needless to say, the couple looked as timeless as ever. The shoot was in the wild greens as they posed. In the caption, he wrote, “Just the beginning, I love you.” Even Presleigh Schultz posted the same series of pictures and captioned it, “Better Together.”

Turns out once again, Bhatia and Presleigh managed to take the breath away of their fans as they flooded the comments section with only love for the couple.

The golf community was mesmerized by the couple’s shoot

Akshay Bhatia posted close to twenty pictures from his recent shoot with his fiance Schultz. While he wore an all-black outfit with white sneakers, Presleigh Schultz wore a beautiful white dress with black heels. The black-and-white contrast looked beautiful, especially because some pictures were posted in black and white. Taking to this, one of them commented, “The contrast with the black and white looks amazing.”

Presleigh Schultz is not unknown to fame. Apart from being known as Akshay Bhaiya’s fiance, she is an active social media user. She appears to be working as a social media influencer who is active on TikTok. The beautiful WAG has a massive following of 26K on her Instagram. Needless to say, people love her. The duo hails from North Carolina. While Bhatia is a resident of Wake Forest, she is that of Raleigh. Taking to this, one of them expressed love for the couple and wrote, “Raleigh and Wake Forest favorite couple! Congrats!”

Akshay Bhatia opened up about his relationship back in 2022. He said he was playing at the Valero Texas Open, and he asked Schultz to meet up. They met for the first time, and there has been no going back since. After the first match together, Schultz continued to caddy for him on several occasions, especially on the Korn Ferry Tour. She has been there to witness him lift his first PGA Tour victory too. Taking all the ups and downs together, the golf community admirably left comments like, “This is so cute” and “Love birds! ❤️” for the couple.

Sahith Theegala and Akshay Bhatia both come from Indian descent, which has brought them closer. Theegala has praised Bhatia’s ball striking and composure. Bhatia has said that he thinks it’s awesome to grow the game of golf in India with Theegala. Turns out, their girlfriends too have become friends. Theegala’s girlfriend, Juju R. Chan, also commented on the post, “The cutest.”

The left-handed golfer turned pro back in 2019 and has won two times on the PGA Tour with six career wins so far. Taking to this, one of them simply commented, “WINNER ON AND OFF THE COURSE! GREAT JOB LEFTY!”
