Scottie Scheffler has been on the top of the leaderboard since day one. He has been playing some consistent golf throughout the week. Therefore, going into the final round, Scheffler was all set for a victory. However, Sam Burns was right behind him as he was trailing the No. 1 by just three strokes.

He carded -5 for the day and scored -9 for the event. Meanwhile, Scheffler, who was -11 at the start of the day, couldn’t add any birdies. Instead, he carded two bogeys and finished the event with a score of -9. Hence, Burns and Scheffler faced each other in the playoffs, where Scheffler had the upper hand.
