This golf legend has inspired many young golfers and is an idol for Michael Block as well. This golfer celebrated his milestone of 60th birthday in style and got a very special and expensive gift every car fanatic secretly wants, a vintage Jaguar.

Scottish golfer Colin Montgomerie turned 60 on 23rd June. Montgomerie has some fantastic golf achievements under his belt. He has won 31 European Tour events, the highest for any British player. He holds the record of winning 8 European Tour Order of Merit titles, out of which seven were won consecutively from 1993 to 1999. 

The official page of PGA Champions on Twitter wished Colin on his birthday and announced the precious gift he got on reaching the amazing milestone of 60.

After years of hard work and glorious achievements on the golf course, Colin is rewarded with a shiny and vintage Classic Red E – Type Jaguar. In the pic leaning on the hood, Colin is flashing the smile of a proud owner.

Colin was given the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his contributions to the golf world. He is considered one of the best golfers who has never won a major championship. But he is one of the most revered golfers in the field.

In another video posted by PGA Champions on Instagram, Colin is having the first drive of the car through the greenery-lined roads of England as he is also describing the features of his new car excitedly.

Age is not a factor for Montgomerie who is still actively participating in tournaments. He currently plays on the European Tour, PGA Tour Champions, and European Senior Tour as well. Two weeks ago he played at the 2023 American Family Insurance Championship where in the third round he made a birdie on the par-4 10th hole.
