In the 2020-2021 PGA Tour season, Bryson DeChambeau had a driving distance of 323.7 and was also the first in strokes gained off-the-tee. However, a recent stat presented by Golf Digest, of 2021-2022, DeChambeau does not feature among the top five.

The player has been struggling with injuries to his left-hand and hip for some time now and is unable to attend golf events. Owing to his injury, he was not able to make a run to defend his title at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He was also not a part of the field last week at the Players Championship. He is placed at seventh position with a drive of 403 yards at the Sentry Tournament of Champions.
His driving distance has also decreased for the 2021-2022 season to 318.5. Scott Stallings tops the list with a whopping drive of 460 yards at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Cameron Young sits at second position with a distance of 413 yards.

Joaquin Niemann is third on the list with his drive measuring 412 yards at CJ Cup. Garrick Higgo, the South African professional, sits one spot ahead of Bryson at sixth position with a drive of 404 yards.

Another thing to notice is that most of the long drives come at Sentry Tournament of Champions. Proving that it is a heaven for long hitters. It must be really agonizing for Bryson to not be in the top five in the stat that he comfortably could top.
How did Bryson DeChambeau finish at Sentry Tournament of Champions?
Bryson made a strong at the opening event of the 2022 season. He ended the season opener, Sentry Tournament of Champions with an overall score of 16-under-par, finishing at tied 25th position. He carded a final round of 72, one-under-par. His final round included two bogeys on the front nine. And five birdies and two bogeys on the back nine as well.
