The US Ryder Cup member, Brooks Koepka, has a habit of taking extra care of his equipment and gear, especially before a notable tournament. Here, the biennial event has also brought forth an exceptional advancement from the professional’s side.

Leaving his previous Srixon ZX5 LS MKII, the golfer has induced a “late driver change.” It is the SIM 2 Max Driver from TaylorMade that has been included in the golfer’s Ryder Cup gear kit. Leaving out his old $500 equipment, the LIV star has opted for the Forged Ring Construction.

By the makers themselves, the driver is explained to have the capacity to explore new dimensions of distance. In the description of the club, it is explained to “unite the critical components of the driver’s head into a singular force.” While his old driver worked great for the professional, Koepka would hope for a similar run with the changed gear.

This driver of a new pattern has worked out well for his LIV fellowmate, Dustin Johnson, and the opposition star he’ll face next weekend, Rory McIlroy. Nevertheless, the update in the equipment seems to draw a clear message across to the Europeans about the former PGA Tour member being all set for the team event. Yet, this is not the only indication of the confident, updated style of the golfer.

Not the only change for Koepka before the coveted team battle

The new driver hasn’t been the only update that Koepka has bestowed upon the golf world recently. Some time back, the LIV golfer appeared to be sporting a new “mullet haircut.” Even the hair color of the 5-time major champion looked a shade lighter than his usual brown. Interestingly, this hairstyle is not uncommon in golf.
