The recent advancements by LIV Golf were another step in that direction.
The PIF-backed league would be observing the second full season in Mayakoba, Mexico. The season opener will introduce many new faces, like Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, Adrian Meronk, and many more. What else it will debut is its three-year-long partnership with Caliente. MX.
LIV Golf welcomes a new partnership onboard

Before the three-day season opener starts at the Greg Norman-designed golf course, El Camaleon GC, the three-year-old league has signed a new deal. Caliente MX is the leading online gaming platform and a secured betting site in Mexico. The breakaway league has signed a three-year contract with Caliente MX.
Caliente MX will be the official sports gaming partner of LIV Golf for the Mayakoba event. The deal will also provide the company with exclusive rights, though only in Mexico. In recent times, this has been LIV Golf’s other progression towards an advanced golf future.
The league has stated that the partnership with Caliente MX will enhance the gaming experience and “provides fans with new and exciting ways to engage with the LIV Golf league and our brand.” There was another sports deal that LIV Golf acquired before the season opener in Maxio on a different continent.

In Spain, the Saudi-backed league signed a deal with the popular streaming platform Movi Plus+. The deal would be for two years, including the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Movi Plus+ also streams the four men’s and five women’s majors, the Ryder Cup, Solheim Cup, PGA Tour, and DPWT events.
The deal would give Movi Plus+ exclusive rights to run the LIV Golf events in Spain. Movi Plus+ is the leading platform for most sports in Spain, from the NBA to Laliga and UEFA to the NHL. Many sports are part of Movi Plus+’s deals, LIV Golf being the latest one. The breakaway league has also announced that these two are just a part of the dozen more distribution deals that are waiting to be disclosed. LIV Golf struck another such deal with a trillion-dollar company.

LIV Golf shakes hands with Google for the upcoming season
Just a few hours ago, the Saudi-backed league signed a partnership with Google. The deal was made with Google Cloud and PMY to launch a new feature called ‘Any Shot, Any Time’. Google Cloud would provide the Vertex AI platform, while PMY would look over the infrastructure.

The partnership will allow fans to watch any shot of a particular player through the event via the LIV Golf App. The trial for the feature will start at LIV Golf Mayakoba, followed by the Las Vegas event. The feature may officially be running in March. The breakaway league is moving forward with new deals, and the future looks promising for LIV Golf.
