Bryson DeChambeau is making waves at the 2024 Masters, and those paying attention will notice a logo adorning his hat and apparel. The golfer has switched his driving hat for a baseball hat! The logo he is donning so proudly belongs to The Crushers, DeChambeau’s LIV Golf team.
Representing the four-man team that DeChambeau captains on the LIV Golf circuit, the Crushers’ emblem is a skull with crossed golf tees. His teammates are Paul Casey, Charles Howell III, and Anirban Lahiri. As a part-owner of the Crushers, and his contract with LIV Golf, DeChambeau is obligated by his LIV Golf contract to wear the team’s logo whenever he is on the course.
DeChambeau’s choice to join the Saudi-sponsored league has had a big impact on his brand. His former silhouette mark has vanished from his cap, and a straightforward “BD” monogram has taken its place. The golfer’s team, Crushers GC, were the LIV Golf League’s 2023 team winners.

Even though DeChambeau looks different, his game is still strong and accurate as he goes for his second major championship in 2024 at the Masters. The 30-year-old American finished the first round at Augusta at the top of the table with a score of 6 under. It remains to be seen whether he will take home the green jacket or not! Meanwhile, let us explore his lucrative LIV contract!
Bryson DeChambeau’s shiny LIV contract
In June 2022, DeChambeau switched to LIV Golf, although the specifics of his contract were kept under wraps. The outspoken American has provided some clarification on the deal’s financial details, though. Less than a month after joining the breakaway league, DeChambeau admitted that the reported $125 million amount was a little low during an appearance on the Country Club Adjacent podcast. “That’s a little low. I’m not gonna say the details, I mean for what’s reported it’s somewhat close,” he stated.
DeChambeau offered more detail, citing the terms of the contract as a “four-and-a-half year deal” that included a sizable upfront payment. Industry insiders have indicated that DeChambeau’s actual signing bonus was more in the range of $150–200 million, despite his refusal to reveal the exact sum.
The enormous payout is evidence of both DeChambeau’s star power and the wealthy Saudi sponsors of LIV Golf, who have tried to persuade elite players to leave the PGA Tour with offers of compensation that are nearly unbeatable. DeChambeau has been able to engage in his business endeavors because of this level of financial security, and because of the flexible rules that the Saudi league has. One such endeavor is the opening of UnderPar Life, a new entertainment complex modeled after Topgolf that will open in Texas in 2025!
