The social media influencer Paige Spiranac is well-known for commenting on sports-related news. As a former professional golfer, she takes much interest in talking about golf. And she has taken a direct dig at the LIV Golf CEO over his viral photo.

The LIV Golf Invitational Series began on June 9. Although it began only this week, it has gained attraction from many. However, not in the way any of the league officials would want it to be popular. 

The post is from Alan Shipnuck, the author of Phil Mickelson’s biography “Phil.” He has also written 8 more books, including the national bestsellers Bud, Sweat & Tees, and The Swinger. Notably, he published the article on Mickelson’s controversial comments on the government backing the Invitational Series online. 

Mickelson went into exile after the article got published after releasing a public apology to the league officials. Other than the statement, he didn’t have any communication with the public until the start of the week. Mickelson made a comeback after the incident at the inaugural event of the LIV Series. 

How did Paige Spiranac react to Shipnuck’s post? 

Alan Shipnuck’s post received the attraction from prominent entities in the golf world, including Spiranac“LOL the hate in his eyes,” Spiranac commented on Shipnuck’s post.

As a social media personality, the 29-year-old has never been afraid to talk or post online about anything. The former professional golfer has social anxiety. However, she has never let it come in between her and her honest comments on a topic.

The inaugural event of the LIV Golf Invitational Series

Despite the controversies, the LIV Golf pulled off to start the league. The Centurion Club in London is hosting its first-ever event from June 9 to 11. 

The field of the event consists of 12 teams with 48 players, including Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, and Lee Westwood. Notably, none of the television channels are broadcasting the league. The viewers can watch it either directly or through selected online platforms.

The main attraction, the purse money, of the inaugural LIV Golf Invitational Series is $25 million. The $5 million of the total purse is to the winning team, whereas the rest is for the individual event, with $4 million for the winner.
