Is the game of golf unfair? It’s a question that would indubitably prompt a variety of responses from various golfers. Although Bryson DeChambeau doesn’t explicitly think that the sport is so, he does feel that there should be a change to the gentleman’s game. Well, even Paige Spiranac was quick to agree!

A story was uploaded on Instagram by the blonde beauty as part of the Q&A session that she hosts for her fans. However, while doing the same, the 1-time major champ went ahead to point out an ardent desire that he would like to witness in the game for the “relief” of the golfers!

A follower decided to ask a query during a collaboration that the ‘Scientist’ was spotted doing with the 2022 Maxim Sexiest Woman on the golf course. They went ahead to ask, “If you could add or remove one rule from golf, what would it be?” The diva then directed at the LIV Golf pro who was driving the ball.

The male athlete was quick to answer the question. He responded that, if given the chance, he would “add the rule that you can take a relief out of a fairway divot.” The model was elated, to say the least, as she replied in gratitude, “Thank you.”

Moreover, it seemed even the glam queen wanted it to happen, as she even agreed to the 2020 U.S. Open champ’s suggestion when he pointed out how “that’d be the best,” while alluding to the rule change. However, as per the regulations set by R&A and the USGA, allowing “free relief” from a hole made by another athlete’s golf club on the fairway is “not aligned with the central principle of playing the course as you find it and the ball as it lies.”

Although the two have been known for their online tussle then and now, they did decide to let bygones be bygones as the two engaged in a new collab. Well, she had even once criticized the golfer for his ‘rudeness’.

Spiranac attacks DeChambeau for his reaction

During the 2022 Memorial Tournament in Ohio, the hard-hitter was declared to be in violation of the rules by the officials. But he did not accept the ruling at all, as the 30-year-old asked for a second call. This did not sit well with the influencer, who called him out for “being a d**k.”

“The way he acted to that rules official was so uncalled for,” said the blonde American before continuing to ask, “Who do you think you are?” Well, she did make sure to make her stance on the issue clear. Nevertheless, coming to the present, it is nothing short of a happy sight when the two decided to come together and engage in some good old golfing content. Truly a heartwarming moment!
