Caitlyn Jenner talks about the major disadvantage of playing for the PGA Tour
Jenner made an appearance in a celebrity roster at the Pro-Am competition. While the PGA and the LIV series continue to have a go at each other, Jenner felt that such competition was good for professional golfers. “If you’re on the PGA Tour and don’t make the cut, you don’t get any money whatsoever, and you’re out your expenses, your hotels,” she said.

“The PGA Tour is really going to have to look at this very seriously and figure out a way in the future that they can all work together. And I think that’s the way and I think at the end, it’s going to be better for the golfers,” she further added.

Is the Backlash against LIV justified?
Jenner also felt the noise surrounding the LIV series was uncalled for and termed it “hypocritical in so many ways”. “To be honest with you, who put the bulk of that money? They’re probably us. We’ve been buying oil from the Saudis for years and years,” she said.
Her sentiments were echoed earlier during the third event of the LIV Golf series by CEO Greg Norman. In an interview with TV host Tucker Carlson, the two-time Open Championship winner revealed that around 27 PGA sponsors conduct $40 billion-plus worth of annual businesses in the Middle East.

Teaming up with English golfers Ian Poulter and Paul Casey, it looked like Jenner enjoyed her time at the course. When not driving the ball to the hole, she was seen cheering for her fellow teammates. While the individual scores weren’t available due to the nature of the event, it is understandable that she might have been just a ‘few paces off’ the English duo.
