Well well well, it’s the LIV drama again, and this time it’s targeted toward 11-time PGA Tour winner, Jon Rahm. Why, you ask? The story is quite long. So, Rahm has competed in ten LIV Tours so far, out of which he withdrew from one, LIV Golf Houston. While he had top 10 finishes in the other nine tournaments, none of those tournaments saw the golfer at his best. But today LIV Golf made a post on X, appreciating Rahm’s top 10 finishes.
“Strong finishes all season @JonRahmOfficial holds the most top-10 finishes on the LIV Golf League in 2024,” the LIV Golf posted. It took the fans by surprise, because for someone of the stature of Jon Rahm, who has won many tournaments on the PGA and the European tour including the Masters, the U.S. Open, and the Irish Open, surely top 10 finishes in LIV are not big enough accomplishments.

Rahm’s 2024 calendar started quite decently, with a T3 finish at LIV Golf Mayakoba. He was looking forward to a win moving ahead. But did that happen? No! The next tournament, LIV Golf Las Vegas saw the player score an eight under par and finish on T8. Yes, worse than the previous tournament.
The next three tournaments were also unlucky for the golfer, as he finished at T5 in LIV Golf Jeddah, T8 in LIV Golf Hong Kong, and T4 in LIV Golf Miami. With the fans getting impatient, Rahm couldn’t bounce back and give them something to cheer about. His form remained more or less the same in Adelaide and Nashville.
While fans haven’t been too happy about Rahm’s recent form and performances, they found it quite ironic that LIV Golf was appreciating the experienced golfer for top 10 finishes.

It’s safe to say that the fans were not overly amused by LIV Golf’s post on X. “This is a joke right? He beats 44 players more often than anyone else, yet he can’t win? Got it. He went to LIV for 2 reason. Paycheck and T-10’s,” said one user, making fun of the golfer. According to Golf Week, Rahm’s paycheck for joining forces with LIV was, reportedly, between $400 to $600 Million. Meanwhile, another fan pointed out the obvious and asked, “Now how many has he won ?” One user added fuel to the fire and wrote, “ZERO victories.”
“What an accomplishment,” commented a netizen. Fans know that these top 10 finishes are nothing compared to the 11 PGA Tour wins the golfer has to his name. “The fact that you guys think this is impressive is hilarious,” said a user, taking a jab at Rahm and LIV Golf.

However, Rahm is not quite done with the 2024 season yet. He will feature in this week’s LIV Golf UK at JCB Golf and Country Club in Staffordshire. And after that, he will be gearing up for the great showdown in Paris. The 29-year-old will represent Team Spain at the Paris Olympics hosted at Le Golf National.
