The temperature is rising as the LIV Golf Team Championship heads to its final stages. The championship recently saw the elimination of four teams in the quarterfinals. The remaining eight will battle it out to bag a place in the finals.
The captain’s pick during the post-match game of the final LIV event had some interesting twists. But Sergio Garcia and Bubba Watson‘s interaction was arguably the most shocking. After all, in a delightful way, they proved themselves to be cut out of the same cloth!

During the interview ahead of the semifinals, Bubba Watson shared his views on facing the Fireballs GC in the semifinals and spoke about the importance of putting their best foot forward in the coming games and stated, “We’ve all got to beat each other to make it to Sunday, so it didn’t matter who was in front of you.”
Sergio Garcia, on the other hand, spoke about the weather conditions during the practice sessions and shared his insights about how the change in the wind-blowing pattern can affect the game of his rival team.
He said, “The wind was blowing totally different today than the practice rounds, so if it blows the same way, they don’t know what’s going on. Sorry, Bubba.”
Upon hearing his name and the mention of his team, the 12-time PGA Tour winner gently poked fun at the rival captain and said, “We haven’t played a practice round yet.” Garcia did not wait for a moment and joined in the lighthearted back and forth and replied, “Me neither. No, but it should be a great match.”
