Cameron Smith has once again become the center of attention, but this time due to his personal life. The Australian golfer had a great 2023 season, coming in second in the season-long LIV Golf leaderboard. But the LIV Golf London winner’s dreams were cut short at the 2023 Fortinet PGA Australian Championship. However, despite the London snub, it appears that 2023 ended on a great, joyful note.

Rumors are floating on the internet that the Australian golfer has great news on the personal front. But whether those rumors are true or not is still up in the air. In an article from the Daily Telegraph, they reported about the LIV golfer’s big day. With a wedding picture attached, Cameron Smith and his bride, Shanel Naoum, in a froufrou gown, were there.

The article claims that Smith has tied the knot with his girlfriend, Shanel Naoum, on Sunday in Brisbane. Fans should take this information with a grain of salt as the images could be from the couple’s pre-wedding shoot. Furthermore, there is no official confirmation from the Australian golfer about this.

However, rumors about their engagement first came out in December 2023. According to the Herald Sun, Smith and Naoum got engaged and were planning on getting married in 2024. But recent reports show the couple might have tied the knot already. However, the news of their secret nuptials would not be unlikely as they have been very protective and caring about each other.

Cameron Smith and his girlfriend are very protective of each other

They went public with their relationship in 2022, and a quirky incident came out in the same year that reiterated them being protective of each other. Back when the Australian golfer used to compete on the PGA Tour, he had an interesting reason for wearing an evil eye bracelet. The LIV golfer revealed his girlfriend (now possible wife) made him wear it, showing how protective she is.

Smith’s partner, Shanel Naoum, is from Florida and has reportedly worked as a chiropractor. She has studied at the University of Florida and the Palmer College of Chiropractic. However, it is unclear when the pair started dating, as they keep their relationship private away from the course. But if the rumors are true, the couple have happily tied the knot.
