Only a few weeks are left before the LIV Golf Promotions tournament kicks off in Dubai. Three spots in the next season are up for grabs for golfers who meet the criteria for the qualifying event. This also marks the PIF-funded league’s move towards a more organized approach to recruiting players from across the globe.

Moreover, this also gives four relegated players another chance to earn their spot once again. Interestingly, a PGA Tour insider revealed that the Tour is not going to ban the qualifying event as unofficial. This will allow Korn Ferry Tour players and PGAT players to take a crack at LIV Golf. Although the full field is yet to be announced, we do know the purse size and prize money for the Promotions event.
