Erika, who originally worked in marketing, left Florida to be with Herbert and now travels alongside him during his tournaments. A fitness enthusiast at heart, she went on to earn a personal training certificate and is passionate about helping others through fitness programs.

Just a few hours ago, Herbert shared an intimate moment with his followers: he got down on one knee and proposed to Erika. The proposal marks a new chapter in their story, a chapter filled with love, excitement, and the promise of a future together. In the caption, he wrote, “Took some convincing, but she agreed to the terms of the contract 💍 Very lucky man ❤️”. 

Just an hour after Herbert posted the picture on Instagram, Erika could not contain her excitement. She commented, “Can’t wait to marry you ❤️❤️❤️”. And the entire golf world joined in on their excitement.

Lucas Herbert is not the only one of course! Golfers really know how to level up their proposals and here are some iconic “put a ring on it” moments. On this list, Andreas Hartø really said go big or go home! During the 2015 Made in Denmark tourney, the golfer drained a birdie on 16, then straight-up proposed to his girlfriend, Louise, right there on the green! The crowd went wild and she said yes.

While not his own proposal, Sergio Garcia just pulled off the ultimate assist at TPC Sawgrass. During The Players, a fan named Ricardo planned to pop the question on the iconic 17th hole. So what did he do? After finishing his round, Garcia casually handed Emma (the girlfriend) a golf ball—but wait for it—it had “Will you marry me?” written on it! She turned around, and boom—Ricardo was already on one knee.
