Range Goats GC captain spills the secrets about LIV’s new potential formats.

Bubba Watson is aware that the newly formed league must be constantly evolving to maintain its footing in the market, one step ahead of its competitors. Otherwise, they will be left behind. While its main focus remains on generating revenue, they are willing to upgrade its format to maintain continuity.

The RangeGoats skipper appeared on the Foreplay Podcast, where he gave a preview of how the league could potentially change its game format by breaking away from regular team championships and adding new ideas in the upcoming season. When the host asked him about the vision of separating the individual competition from the team competition, Watson gave an informative reply.

After discussing the current money distribution, he explained, “The long-term vision is going all-team, and then you can do some fun events like that, where it’s two on two, it’s maybe an alternate shot, and maybe scrambled whatever, right? because it’s open air. I mean, the league was started from scratch; we can do what we want.”
