Injuries are part and parcel of the game. But there are even cases when such incidents occur outside the course, leading to the players being forced to undergo surgery and rest before making a comeback. And the legend of golf, Tiger Woods, finds himself in a similar situation as the professional gears up to make a return to the game.

However, such a resurgence might not be devoid of obstacles, as can be seen in the case of Sergio Garcia. The LIV golfer had also experienced a similar situation in 2022, which, when put in contrast with the golf legend’s case, raises serious concerns!

Woods found himself on a break from the game owing to an accident in 2021, after which he had to undergo surgery, thus extending his hiatus. However, there have been a lot of speculations as to when the golfer would be making his comeback, with people disclosing how he might tee up at the Hero World Challenge later this year or in TGL next year. But even so, it isn’t without any uneasiness, as Garcia’s revelation caused anxiety among Woods’ fans.

In a post-conference after the second round of LIV Golf Jeddah, the Saudi-backed league player was asked about his surgery and his subsequent recovery. He mentioned how the athlete feels great “physically,” along with divulging how he is not only able to play the game but also add in a bit of workout while living life normally.

However, if one were to ask if the 43-year-old was on top of his game, then the answer would be a definite “no!” The 11X PGA Tour champ expressed how he feels he can still get much better,” in addition to pointing out how one needs to work hard on it and “improve every single time” while making sure to enjoy the same.
