It was just after his collaboration with Donald Trump. Bryson DeChambeau had just asked his fans who they would like to see him making content with. And John Daly replied, rather enthusiastically, to the LIV Golf Pro’s tweet, “LFG (Let’s F**** Go).” Little did the ‘Scientist’ know that saying ‘Yes’ to that would help him end up with a gift from the senior golfer, one that was presented to him with a lot of “love.”

“I just wanna say I love you, son,” expressed Daly as he presented the 2024 U.S. Open champ with a set of handmade Dominican cigars and a bunch of lighters. “You may not smoke cigars,” continued the 58-year-old before presenting him with the same while asking him to show it to his friends. His reply? “Wow, that’s awesome. Thank you…”

The typical ‘John Daly’ gift coated with utmost “love” sure marked a very special start to a much-anticipated collaboration between the two athletes. Moreover, although NUCLR GOLF reshared the sneak peek of the new ‘Break 50’ episode on X, many of the fans’s attention remained on the initial interaction between the two professionals and the cigars. Suffice it to say, they loved it very much, as can be seen from the comments section under the tweet.

If anything, the senior professional is known for smoking cigarettes on the course. Back in 2008 at the Wyndham Championship, during a practice round of 18 holes, Daly had downed a total of 21 cigarettes, 12 diet cokes, 6 packs of Peanut M&M’s, not to mention 0 ounces of water. And with the new sneak peek of the episode, he didn’t seem any different; as many fans commented, “Big John always goated,” and “John Daly is a living legend this man is one of a kind.”

John Daly had emerged victorious at the Open Championship back in 1995. He did so while carding a 6-under 282 to tie with Constantino Rocca, after which he won the major following a playoff with the Italian athlete. Fast forward to 2024, and the senior golfer started off DeChambeau’s ‘Break 50’ video with a hilarious comment about teaching the LIV golfer how to triumph in the Open. A fan, as a result, commented, “‘Today, I’m gonna teach Bryson how to win the British Open’ with a cigarette in his mouth, is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen.” Interestingly, the 30-year-old had missed the cut at Royal Troon this year despite dishing out scintillating finishes in the other three majors.

“I’ve worked really hard to have people help hopefully understand who I am a little bit better,” said Bryson DeChambeau back at the 2024 PGA Championship when he had won over many fans. He also mentioned how “YouTube has been a great platform to help that out.” The athlete, an artist from being a professional golfer, has been creating a lot of content through his channel.

A fan couldn’t help but point out the same while bringing in Brooks Koepka: “I love that Bryson started a YT golf channel. Lets us see him in a different light. I always thought he was an asshole until I watched his videos….cuz that’s how the media made him look. I think Koepka needs his own channel too to clear the air.” Meanwhile, another follower could only respond with the comment, “John Daly was made for YouTube,” after watching the video.

Anyhow, it would be hard to hate the interaction between the two golfers, as they had a fun time on the course while filming the newest ‘Break 50’ episode. What did you think about the video as they started off the new episode on a ‘loving’ note?
