The American professional on Saturday sent a shock wave throughout the golf world. He made an astonishing announcement about his alliance with the PGA Tour through Twitter. He tweeted a lengthy statement about resigning from the PGA Tour, and he stated that the fans can now see him on the LIV Golf Invitational Series from next week.

Moreover, he tweeted about the same through his official Twitter account, including a four-line caption. The 33rd-ranked golfer in the Official World Golf Rankings is the first professional to resign from the PGA Tour because of the strict policies of the Tour.

In the long statement, Na wrote, “I am sad to share that I have chosen to resign from the PGA Tour. This has not been an easy decision and not one taken lightly. I hope the current policies change and I’ll be able to play on the PGA Tour again.” His caption on the tweet said, “This was a very difficult decision for me. I hope my fans will continue to support me wherever I choose to play. Thank you..” Moreover, he took drastic measures as he could not play in the LIV Golf Invitational Series while being a member of the PGA Tour. Na would face disciplinary action if he played on the rival tour. However, it will be interesting to see how the PGA Tour reacts to the announcement.
