While the eyes are on LIV Golf Chicago, Mike McAllister, the editorial director of LIV Golf, shared a post on X revealing Bryson DeChambeau’s Crusher GC’s new merch, the head covers. “Made a sweep through #LIVGolf Chicago merch tent and saw this. Was told that @Crushers_GC are the first to sell team-specific head covers,” he said via post. Yes, they’re building a fan base to support the league, which is crucial given many hoped it would fail quickly.

Not just Bryson DeChambeau, Greg Norman is also working simultaneously to improve the conditions. Speaking of improvements, LIV Golf consistently introduces innovative ideas to make their tournaments more engaging and interesting. For example, at LIV Golf Adelaide, they introduced the “Flight Deck,” which allowed fans to get a close-up view of the pros and enjoy merchandise and VIP experiences. Similarly, at LIV Golf Houston, the league featured small astronauts as tee markers.

While Bryson DeChambeau and his team exhibit confidence in the league, his presence has also been a key draw for crowds this year. After winning the silver trophy at Pinehurst No. 2, his popularity surged, leading to 40,000 spectators attending LIV Golf Nashville over three days. One might think that only DeChambeau’s team has confidence in LIV Golf, but that’s not the case.

DeChambeau isn’t the only one who has confidence in LIV Golf
While the Saudi-backed league’s condition improved, some pros also jumped in to show their appreciation and confidence in the league. John Catlin, who played in several LIV Golf events as a part of Crushers GC while Charles Howell III was sidelined due to a tibia injury, shared his positive thoughts after thoroughly enjoying his time at the LIV Golf events.
He said, “Having experienced the LIV Golf events, they are really cool, we are very well looked after, and playing that caliber of field for that kind of money is something we all want. That is priority one, and I am looking forward to what will unfold over the next eight events.” The golfer also played at LIV Golf Greenbrier as a replacement for Graeme McDowell on Brooks Koepka‘s team.

Another pro, Richard Bland at LIV Golf, who recently won the 2024 Senior PGA Championship and the U.S. Senior Open Championship back-to-back, also admires LIV Golf and the pros in it. He expressed his appreciation for the pros at the league, saying, “To play against Bryson, who won just the other week at Pinehurst, to play against him, to play against Jon Rahm, Cam Smith, D.J. Brooks, they’re the best players in the world. I don’t care what the world ranking says.”
