For the first time in the last three years, LIV Golf has visited Nashville, Tennessee, to hold an event there, which makes it a historical event as after 80 years, a professional golf tournament has been held in the Volunteer State. LIV Golf Nashville has been taking place at the Greg Norman-designed private club, The Grove, which kicked off on June 21st.

As the first round has concluded, preparation for Saturday is underway. Abraham Ancer, who took his maiden LIV victory in Hong Kong, has again taken a solid lead in Nashville after carding 7 under 64. Starting the second at the shotgun time of 12:15 p.m. EST, Ancer has been paired with Tyrrell Hatton and John Catlin, who follow him one and two strokes behind, respectively.

On the other hand, the reigning U.S. Open winner, Bryson DeChambeau, has joined the 54-roster of LIV at The Grove despite being tired after the Pinehurst quest. Following his incredible form, the 2-time major winner shot 4 under 67 for a tie for 4th on the leaderboard. DeChambeau will start the second round at par-4 2nd hole with Eugenio Chaccara and Sebastian Munoz. The rest of the tee times and pairings can be found below.

The first day of LIV Golf Nashville was filled with fiery competitors and everyone’s hunger to be on top. Apart from the round, what took away the golf world’s attention was the fierce Jon Rahm and no, it was not because he had played exceptionally at The Grove.

Jon Rahm becomes a point of ridicule at LIV Golf Nashville

LIV Golf Nashville’s air was turned blue once again by none other than Jon Rahm. The Spaniard was having the time of his life as he made two back-to-back birdies in the front nine but slipped a bit and shot a bogey on the 7th hole. The 1-time Masters winner picked himself and recovered from the missed opportunity to make two more birdies at the back. However, he lost his cool on the 18th hole.

The Spaniard had already made a bogey on the 17th and for a better finish, he wished nothing but a par or a birdie on the final hole. However, fate didn’t let him, as he swung the fourth shot over the water hazard on the par-4 18th and was forced to finish with a bogey and score of 1 under 69. En route to the greens, Rahm dropped the f-bomb.

Rahm’s outburst was not welcomed by the golf community, as they once again ridiculed the player for his consistent f-bomb tirade.
