Speaking of how his golf journey started, five-time major winner Koepka confessed golf never felt personal to him. He said: “I didn’t think of it as my sport.” When he was seven or eight, he suffered a car accident which ruined his chances of playing contact sports.

Lightening the moment, a question came up about the car that did all the damage to him. Koepka mentioned it was a Volvo. Then a short debate addressed whether Koepka feels gratitude or regret over the Volvo for where he is now.

Koepka mentioned that he always looks at it like 9 to 5. He admitted he loves competition and winning and that he enjoys golf. However, he also pointed out that like most people who do their 9 of 5, whether they like it or not, he is doing it for the paycheck.

The direct answers and the honesty are a signature of Koepka. In another recent interview, he had stated his stand on admitting he choked at the Masters earlier this year. He stood by his comment and said he is brutally honest.
