The Greenbrier Event became the talk of the town as DeChambeau showcased his extraordinary skills on the final day. This remarkable performance made him only the fourth player in history to achieve a stunning score of 58 on a top-level tour. The journey wasn’t without obstacles as he faced a challenging moment with a bogey during the decisive round. Like a true champion, however, he moved on from that and eventually emerged victorious.

Immediately following his victory, the 29-year-old golfer engaged in interviews with Mike McAllister, the editorial director of the LIV Golf League. McAllister seized the opportunity to inquire whether DeChambeau had ever achieved a score below 60 before, even in practice rounds. In response, the eight-time PGA Tour Winner acknowledged that he had previously indeed achieved a score below 60. Though he didn’t sound proud about it.

The American professional golfer revealed that he had shot a 59 at Shriners 2020. As a teenage golfer, he had similar extraordinary rounds. “So I have experience going low,” he said. Mike McAllister shared the interview on his Twitter handle.

The years of hard work have indeed helped him to give a rocking performance at the LIV Greenbrier Event. They say practice makes perfect, Bryson DeChambeau epitomizes that saying.
